WHAT:
Glass fusion is hot! This art form has taken off in the art world! Learn the process, technique, and tools of how to melt glass into beautiful pieces of art.
WHO:
Anyone can learn how to fuse glass, even kids! I teach adult, children, and adult/children workshops. Age range for kids is 9years and up. I even do kid birthday parties. Glass is pre-cut for the younger artists and safety is always emphasized.
HOW:
To set up a workshop just give me a call or email. We will figure out times and dates. Please understand that the more notice you give me the more flexible I will be to meet your needs. Class size can range to private lessons or groups of up to 25 artists. The larger the number of people in your group the lower the cost of each artist. Prices for classes range from 15-35 per artist. Private lessons are 45 per hour. All prices include the cost of the materials, firing projects, and teaching time.
WHEN:
I am available mostly on weekends and evenings. During the summer months I am available during the days as well. Classes usually run for 2-3 hours depending on the project and number of artists.
WHERE:
Classes are held at your home or in my studio. Large numbers are better suited at your home. I bring all materials to you, and do the setup/ cleanup. All I need from you is space for supplies and a work area for each artist. You are also responsible for inviting and contacting your group about the class and picking up their projects. I fire the projects in my kiln and then return the projects to you.
WHY:
What a great way to learn a new art form. Get a group of friends together or plan a day to create something special with the kiddos. You come away with a wonderful experience and an artwork to treasure forever.
